We refuse to let go of the summer!

So check out some gorgeous (and we mean gorgeous) boozy popsicle recipes (POPTAILS) that are simple to create at home.

A Sangria Pop, A Mezcal Margarita, Cherry Lemon Caipirinha, Reverse Manhattan (more vermouth than whiskey – – better for all day drinking), Mint Irish Coffee and an Espresso Martini.

Cheers!

__________

Sangria Pop
Since I have been drinking, I don’t think a summer has passed without at least one day spent drinking sangrias with friends so this was definitely a must.

Sangria Pop

· 1 ounce Stella Rosa Black
· 1 ounce lemonade
· ½ ounce orange juice
· 1 orange slice
· 1 lemon slice
· ½ chopped strawberry

__________

Mezcal Margarita
Obviously a Margarita was always going to be in the list but I have put my little spin on this classic and made it with mezcal to balance the sugar of the limeade.

Mezcal Margarita

· ½ ounce Mezcales de Leyenda Durango
· 1 ounce limeade
· 1 ounce pink lemonade
· 1 slice kiwi fruit
· ½ chopped strawberries

__________

Cherry Lemon Caipirinha
The classic Caipirinha is a delicious summer cocktail but if you know me at all you know I’m putting a twist on it so I added some fresh cherries and swapped in lemonade as a sweetener.

Cherry Lemon

· ½ ounce Novo Fogo Sparkling Silver Cachaça
· 2 ounces lemonade
· chopped cherries

__________

Reverse Manattan
For something different I wanted to mix up a boozy frozen Manhattan and it came out so delicious. A quality sweet vermouth is definitely key for this one.

Reverse Manhattan

· ¾ ounce Carpano Antica Formula
· ¼ ounce Templeton Rye Whiskey
· ½ ounce cherry juice
· 1 ounce water
· chopped cherries

__________

Mint Irish Coffee
My favorite drink in New Orleans is the Frozen Irish Coffee at Erin Rose so we put my own spin on it and added in some additional flavors to give it some extra kick.

Mint Irish coffee

· ¼ ounce Brancamenta
· ½ ounce Teeling Small Batch Irish whiskey
· ½ ounce Kerrygold Irish Cream
· 1 ounce cold brew coffee

__________

Espresso Martini
I’m in Australia right now and the most popular cocktail is an Espresso Martini so I just knew I had to make one into a popsicle and share this delicious cocktail with you all.

Espresso Martini

· ½ ounce Crystal Head Vodka
· ½ ounce Caffe Borghetti
· ½ ounce water
· 1 ounce cold brew coffee

Method:
Mix reach pop individually in mixing cups
Fill popsicle molds (silicone is best)
Place in freezer for approximately 5 hours
Remove from mold and consume immediately or place in freezer bag for later
