With the summer/rum season in full swing, check out a couple summer cocktail recipes from Cruzan Rum.
Both cocktails are great whether you’re sitting by the pool in need of a refreshment or are looking for a signature cocktail to serve at an upcoming BBQ!
Cruzan® Mai Tai
1 part Cruzan® Black Strap Rum
1 part Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Dark Rum
½ part Blue Curacao
¾ part Almond Syrup
¾ part Fresh Lime Juice
Method: Combine all ingredients over crushed ice in a shaker and shake. Dump into a double Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with a sugarcoated mint sprig in a rolled orange peel.
Cruzan® Pineapple Crush
1 1/2 parts Cruzan® Single Barrel Rum
1/2 part Cruzan® Pineapple Rum
Juice of one whole Lime
4 one inch cubes of Fresh Pineapple
4-6 leaves of Fresh Sage
Method: In a mixing glass, muddle the sage with the lime juice first, then add the pineapple and muddle again. Add Cruzan® Rums. Stir. Pour into a tall highball glass over ice. Spritz with soda water. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
