No romantic Valentine’s Day day is complete without a fabulous cocktail!

Celebrity chef and party planner Travis London has three sexy drinks just for the occasion, as well as tips to make sure that no matter if you are celebrating with a lover, friends, or yourself, you do it in style!

Cheers!

__________

Couples:

To make this valentine’s day special for you and your babe, make their favorite comfort meal and have candles lit on the table. Make the vibe sexy, sacred, and unforgettable, just like you! Have the lights on low and soft music playing. Serve everything in small bites, this way they don’t over eat and get full making sure they save room for you later. And the plus of cooking a meal at home the setting is not only more intimate and it shows the effort you put into but you’ll save more money than going to a restaurant.

Cooking for that someone special? Be sure to include ingredients that have been known to have aphrodisiac like properties. Ginger for example not only spices up your food, but can put some extra spice in your love life. It improves blood flow through the body and contains Vitamin C, zinc and magnesium—a sure bet to heat things up between the sheets.

__________

Singles:

Cooking class

Invite a chef over for a girl’s night cooking class. There’s nothing more fun than cooking in the kitchen with your friends. Another plus, you can pick up some tips and start planning the meal you will be cooking next year for that special someone.

Spa night

Invite over your other single girlfriends and have a spa night. You can hire a manicurist and a masseuse to come to your home and if you’re low on cash check out your local beauty schools to hire a student for cheap or have all your friends pitch in. Next throw in simple and chic hor dourves and Cointreau cocktails and let the night of pampering and girl talk begin.

For everyone:

No matter if you are celebrating with a lover, friends or just yourself no valentines is complete without cocktails! Every cocktail starts with a great base. Travis loves Cointreau because it’s versatile and though it’s an orange liqueur it as a high alcohol content, at 80 proof, so it works great as a base spirit. Create signature cocktails by adding fruit to cocktails. Strawberries are incredibly high in anti-oxidants and have the lowest glycemic level of any fruit. This means you can dance all night as they provide sustained energy at the cost of only a few calories. While grapefruits will help you to burn stored fat, freeing you to drink up and celebrate! For an enticing grapefruit cocktail try Travis’ Cointreau Rickey Grapefruit Love Elixir.
