The exclusive black tie “fantasy” event, held at the legendary Plaza Hotel, drew an illustrious crowd of well-heeled guests who were treated to a special live performance by Katy Perry as they mingled, danced, and swilled flutes of Moët & Chandon Impérial champagne into the early morning hours. Anticipating her usual theatrics, guests flocked to the stage when the iconic songstress took the stage in a head to toe butterfly ensemble, standing on benches and balancing glasses of bubbly, trying to snap photos.
Other celebrity guests included: Mariah Carey, Glenda Bailey, Kate Upton, Karen Elson, Jessica Hart, Emily Ratajkowski, Alessandra Ambrosio, Rita Ora, Prabal Gurung, Phillip Lim, Jeremy Scott, Rachel Zoe, The Fat Jewish, Hilary Roda, Lindsay Ellingson, Julianne Hough, Emily Weiss, Wes Gordon, Jason Wu, Brad Goreski, Mickey Boardman, Leandra Medine, Hannah Bronfman, Bill Cunningham, Nina Agdel, Tom Ford, Eva Chen, Johannes Huebl, Rebecca Minkoff and many more!
Newly engaged Julianne Hough was overheard joking with attendees that she was actually a Moët & Chandon spokesperson from Paris as she sipped the bubbly, showing off the back of her Zuhair Murad ensemble.
Rita Ora posed for photos throughout the event even with bedazzled bottles of Moët & Chandon. She didn’t even stop as she exited the event making time for young fans on the street who ran past traffic just to snap a pic of the starlet. She was arm and arm with a man who swept her into a large black SUV after the event.
Mariah Carey spent the night perched in a booth overlooking the Moët & Chandon VIP area. The legendary diva had a perfect view of Katy Perry’s amazing performance and danced along to some of her favorite tunes. She was lovely, decked in diamonds and blew kisses and waved to fans throughout the performance
