Los Angeles – Last night, (7/14) GREY GOOSE kicked off the week of the ESPY Awards, hosting the Body at ESPYs exclusive pre-party at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. The evening’s festivities celebrated the annual ‘Body Issue’ of ESPN Magazine and included a who’s who of the sports world in attendance. In recognition of those who have helped top athletes on the path to success, GREY GOOSE has partnered with Robbie Rogers, Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star, who shares his Fly Beyond story and honors his mentor, Shaun Higgins, who guided Rogers early in his career. Robbie took over the GREY GOOSE Twitter channel on Monday, July 13 and answered fan questions about achieving the extraordinary and how his mentor guided him along the way. One lucky fan that tuned into the twitter chat received the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the Body at ESPYS pre-party and meet Robbie Rogers in the GREY GOOSE lounge.
Robbie Rogers arrived in a tailored Vivian Westwood suit with mentor Shaun Higgins and chatted with Michelle Beadle, ESPN sports reporter as well as Body at ESPYS pre-party host, Sydney Leroux about how Shaun Higgins has inspired him to Fly Beyond, defy expectations and overcome obstacles to become the successful player he is today.
Athletes and guests in attendance enjoyed bespoke GREY GOOSE cocktails including the GREY GOOSE Le Fizz, and the collection of GREY GOOSE Summer Soiree cocktails. The clear crowd favorite was the specially crafted ESPY serve, the GREY GOOSE High Five created by Guillaume Jubien who was onsite managing mixology. Guests were overheard commenting on how much they enjoyed the High Five cocktail and how it was a “great summer drink.” Attendees were also treated to a special musical performance by Fetty Wap who performed his hit single Trap Queen getting the party started into the late hours of the night.
