As the fall breeze and crisp air roll in, its time to get out the scarves, put out the fall decorations and warm up with some seasonal sips! And for those of us who have had enough of eating, drinking and seeing pumpkin everything, SVEDKA Vodka, Black Velvet Whisky and ONEHOPE Wine offer the best of cinnamon, spice and everything nice for a unique fall celebration.
Hot & Bothered
1 1/2 parts SVEDKA Raspberry
Dash angostura bitters
1 tsp. vanilla syrup
Squeeze lemon wedge
Top with hot apple cider
Build ingredients in a toddy mug, top with hot apple cider, and garnish with a thin apple slice and star anise.
1 1/2 parts SVEDKA Clementine
1 part freshly brewed black tea
1/2 part fresh lemon juice
1/2 part orange juice
1 part grenadine
1/4 part water
1 mulled wine ice block
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate. 15 minutes before serving, add mulled wine ice block. Stir periodically as the ice block melts. Garnish with a stick of cinnamon.
2 oz. Black Velvet Toasted Caramel
3 oz. apple cider
Cinnamon for garnish
Combine the first two ingredients over ice and stir until weel chilled. Garnish with grated cinnamon or cinnamon stick.
1/2 oz. Black Velvet Cinnamon Rush
1/2 oz Chocolate liqueur
Combine ingredients over ice and strain into a shot glass.
ONEHOPE Wine’s Apple Cider Mimosa
Prep Time: 5 minutes
1 tsp brown sugar
1 ounce scotch
2 ounces fresh apple cider
4 ounces ONEHOPE Sparkling Wine
Apple slices for garnish
Combine brown sugar, scotch and apple cider in a flute. Top with ONEHOPE Sparkling wine and garnish with fresh apple slices.
ONEHOPE Wine’s Cinnamon Orange Mulled Wine
Prep Time: 10 minutes
4 cups apple cider
1 (750ml) ONEHOPE Cabernet Sauvignon
1/4 cup honey
1 orange zested and juiced
10 cinnamon sticks
3 star anise
2 oranges peeled for garnish
Combine the cider, wine, honey, orange juice, zest, 2 cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour into mugs and garnish with orange peels and cinnamon sticks.
ONEHOPE Wine’s Pear and Sparkling Cider Cocktail
Prep Time: 5 minutes
2 cups chilled pear nectar
2 cups apple cider
2 cups ONEHOPE Sparkling Wine
4 ounces bourbon whiskey
1 pear, unpeeled and cored cut into thin slices lengthwise
2/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup cinnamon mixed for rimming
Rim champagne coups with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Combine pear nectar, apple cider, Sparkling wine and whiskey in a pitcher and serve immediately. Garnish with sliced pear.
