Hollywood – JBL kicked off the brand’s ‘Dare to Listen’ series to celebrate the release of JBL’s new Synchros headphone lineup, highlighting the Synchros S700 headphones with JBL LiveStage™ technology on Saturday, November 2 and The W Hollywood. After making an appearance at pal Usher’s surprise 35th birthday party, legendary DJ Jermaine Dupri spent his Saturday afternoon spinning for guests of Dare To Listen, after an opening set by Sirius Radio’s DJ Wonder.
Following his DJ set, Jermaine relaxed near the DJ booth and sipped cocktails while party goers danced around the rooftop pool. Dupri’s friend and Black Eyed Peas member, apl.de.ap came to support and check out JBL’s Synchros headphones which he was seen wearing in the VIP area. Fusing a daytime party with a premium gifting opportunity and education experience, the invite-only series catered to a set of handpicked sound and music enthusiasts. Guests danced all night and had the opportunity to dine on hors d’oeuvres and enjoy complimentary beverages from Ciroc Vodka and Heineken. The gifting lounge was available exclusively to VIP guests, where they could try on and take home the new Synchros S700 headphones. Members of the JBL team were on-site to provide VIP guests with a first-hand opportunity to learn why the S700 headphones are set to revolutionize the sound experience.
