Our ship landed at Riff Raffs on 360 Park Avenue South where we were greeted with savory hors d’oeuvres and delicious vibrant concoctions that would make the happiest person yellow with envy. Mouth-watering morsels were accompanied with a vacation in a glass, that surely made it a night to remember. The room was surrounded by DIY stations filled with beautiful people dressed as vibrant as the delicious drinks we were enjoying and this truly made it easy for me to say hello yellow and sail away into the Tropix night with some beautiful creations.
La La Anthony was anything but mellow at the launch of X-Rated Fusion Liqueur’s new flavor TROPIX. Donning a vibrant yellow Veronique Branquinho sweater, La La got behind the bar of Riff Raffs to shake up some colorful cocktails and joked around with the coconuts at the bar. La La was all smiles as she hung out with Po Johnson and friends and kept hush when any questions circulated about the Kardashians.
Daisy Lewellyn, style expert and “Queen of Effortless Chic” hosted the event for friends and La La to celebrate the new flavor launch. Daisy curated 3 DIY stations bringing the yellow color trend to life in a practical, usable way. Guests were encouraged to create their own Hello Yellow necklaces, custom cocktail coasters and yellow cocktail trays all while sipping on signature TROPIX cocktails.

SIGNATURE TROPIX COCKTAILS FOR EVENT:
TROPIX Storm
1 oz. TROPIX
1 ½ oz. Appleton ® Estate Reserve Jamaica Rum
3 oz. Ginger Beer
½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Fill tall glass half way with ice cubes. Slowly pour rum into glass over a bar spoon to achieve layered look. Follow with TROPIX and more ice, then lime. Top with soda.

1 ½ oz. TROPIX
1 oz. Pomegranate Juice
4 oz. Champagne Dried Pineapple for garnish
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Strain into champagne glass. Top with champagne. Garnish with dried pineapple.

2 oz. TROPIX
2 oz. Coconut Water
1 oz. Passion Fruit Juice
Dash of Cayenne
Coconut Slice and Mint Sprig for garnish
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Strain into a low ball glass and add one large ice cube. Garnish with a mint sprig and a slice of coconut.
