New York – Over the weekend, Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz, Sofia Vergara, Gerard Butler and Brooke Shields celebrated the TAO Downtown Grand Opening in New York City. It was a star-studded evening to celebrate TAO’s second location in NYC. The new 30,000 square foot venue was designed by architect David Rockwell with art murals created by HUSH.
It was date night for many celebrity couples including Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, who joined the celebration after Alicia’s performance in Central Park. Other couples included Katrina Bowden and husband Ben Jorgenson, Olivia Munn and Joel Kinnman, Erin Heatherton and boyfriend, and Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg.
In the main room, Debra Messing joined Kelly Rutherford and posed for photos. Naomi Campbell danced while Samantha Ronson played the first DJ set of the night. Later in the evening, DJ Vice took the stage and Ashanti jumped in the DJ booth and joined in on the fun.
