EMM Group Partners With RPM /Pacha NYC Masterminds To Introduce
Electronic Dance Music-Focused Experience at Multi-Concept Property at 199 Bowery in NYC
(New York, NY—October 2012) – Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum, and Michael Hirtenstein, owners of EMM Group, New York’s leading hospitality and nightlife company, announced today that RPM Worldwide’s Eddie Dean and Rob Fernandez, the masterminds behind Pacha NYC, have become partners for FINALE, the 6,000 square foot ultra-luxe nightclub from EMM Group set to officially open November 8th. The union marks a groundbreaking collaboration between two of the top nightlifeoperators and innovators in the country, and swells the anticipation for the venue, which is expected to become New York City’s premier destination for world-class DJs in an intimate, exclusive environment.
Built like a padded vault, FINALE is hidden deep within the multi-concept property at 199 Bowery, lined top-to-bottom in tufted blue leather to house a state-of-the-art Void Acoustic sound system – the highest quality sound system found in a Manhattan nightclub. Anchored by a rosewood and polished-chrome accented bar, FINALE also features aerial rigging points and a 12’ x 6’ video wall directly behind the central DJ booth. Crowning the space is an LED video panel ribbon made up of (95) 12mm panels tracing the entire perimeter of the dance floor high above partygoers’ heads, immersing them in true 360-degree nightlife. FINALE creates a multi-faceted experience by incorporating avant-garde performers throughout the entirety of the venue.
EMM Group, which began in 2006 with the opening of Meatpacking District nightclub Tenjune, has since opened Catch, Abe & Arthur’s, SL, and several other hospitality venues including a partnership at HQ Nightclub at Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City. EMM Group has cultivated a robust VIP clientele and a renowned reputation for outstanding service that spans New York City, The Hamptons, New Jersey, and later this fall, Miami.
Stemming from Pacha in Ibiza, widely considered the Mecca of dance music, Pacha NYC has become one of the world’s largest nightlife brands. Owner Eddie Dean and partner Rob Fernandez, have played an integral role in the venue’s success and have been a driving force of dance music in New York City. Together the duo founded RPM Worldwide, which most recently spearheaded the Steve Angello “Size in the Park” concert, Electric Daisy Carnival New York, and is fronting the upcoming “All Mixed Up” Halloween bash at NYC’s Pier 94 with notables including Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso and Otto Knows. They have established themselves as the premier dance music-focused marketing and management group worldwide.
Drawing on one another’s expertise in these areas, the strategic joint venture for FINALE further cements EMM Group and RPM as vanguards of NYC nightlife. Situated in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, FINALE, will be just one of venues at the 20,000 square-foot property, offering guests the ultimate DJ-centric experience with progressive performance elements.199 Bowery will also feature The General, a bustling restaurant serving modern Asian cuisine and occupying prime storefront that stretches across the eighty-foot facade with retractable glass garage-door panels that open up directly into the front café; as well as a downstairs performance-style space.
