New York – On Tuesday, September 18, 2012, Gap and GQ celebrated the launch of the Gap + GQ Best New Menswear Designers in America Collection at Pier 40 Picnic House in New York City. During the event, Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley, The Client List’s Colin Egglesfield and New York Knick Tyson Chandler, joined the six Best New Menswear Designers in America – BLK DNM, Ian Velardi, Mark McNairy New Amsterdam, Ovadia & Sons, Saturdays NYC and Todd Snyder – for a first look at the exclusive collection they designed for Gap.

The limited-edition Gap collection for men designed by GQ’s six Best New Menswear Designers in America for 2012, will be available starting September 27th at select Gap stores and online at www.gap.com. The one-of-a-kind assortment, which ranges from accessories to outerwear, showcases each rising designer’s signature spin on iconic menswear pieces. With price points starting at $20 for essential items such as boxer briefs and ranging up to $348 for more indulgent pieces like a leather bomber jacket.

Penn Badgley is wearing the Gap Mark McNairy New Amsterdam Chambray Shirt, $68.00, and Gap 1969 Slim Boot Jeans, $69.95.
